Trivandrum and Kochi have been listed as the ‘next emerging locations’ for start-ups in India, says a Nasscom report. Nasscom report on Tech Start-ups in India which was published recently says that Trivandrum and Kochi will be the next emerging destination for Indian start-ups. The other locations that found a place in the list are Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Jaipur. India is the fourth fastest growing start-up destination in the world, after the US, UK and Israel. ......

First squash academy in Kerala to come up in Trivandrum!

In order to make the game of squash popular in Kerala, the Kerala Police Sports and Youth Welfare Society has decided to launch a squash training centre, titled the Kerala Squash Academy in Trivandrum. Kerala Cricket Association's maiden first-class Cricket stadium in the capital will be opened today.  Sports Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the St Xavier’s College Cricket Ground at Thumba, today.
