Dubai-based Aster DM Healthcare Announces 500 bed super-speciality hospital in Trivandrum!

The super-speciality hospital is part of Aster DM Healthcare's plan to invest around Rs 600 crore over the next three years in Kerala.

Dubai-based Aster DM Healthcare is going to start a new 500 bed super-speciality hospital in Trivandrum. The super-speciality hospital will be a Greenfield project in the state capital.

The group had last month announced two new projects- a 250 bed multi-specialty hospital in Kannur and a 300-bed super-specialty hospital in Kozhikode. The various projects will add over 1,000 beds to the group’s existing capacity of 2,000 beds in the state.

The Aster DM Healthcare group is the largest employer in the healthcare sector in Kerala. The company currently operates a total of 16 hospitals, over 85 clinics and 200 pharmacies in the Middle-East and India.

Aster DM Healthcare currently has eight hospitals in India — four in Kerala, two in Maharashtra, one in Telangana and one in Karnataka — with a total 1,840 beds.
