‘Vande Keralam’ 92.7 Big FM’s Anti-drugs campaign from August 9th. Say NO to Drugs!

Since its inception, Vande Keralam has succeeded in bringing light on the issue of drug abuse and was able to deliver its message to all levels of society

Drug abuse is a major public health problem that impacts society on multiple levels. People become addicted to drugs only after they begin a period of experimentation – they might start using because they want to experience the thrill of something new, or because they want to fit in with friends who are also using. Gradually it leads to his/her downfall, culminating in the total destruction of the self, both physically and mentally.

It is reported that there has been a three-fold increase in drug abuse in Kerala since the last few years.  Understanding this helpless state of a drug addict, 92.7 Big FM is launching a very powerful RJ Marathon called ‘Vande Keralam’ – a campaign against smoking, alcohol consumption, drugs and other vices.
