The new Activa will be powered by a near 125cc, four-stroke, force air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, with variator-controlled automatic transmission.
Honda’s Activa scooter needs little introduction. It’s been Honda’s flagship model for over a decade, and was in fact the Honda’s very first two-wheeler when they commenced Indian operations back in 1999.
Honda‘s current scooter line up features a 109cc, 4-stroke but the absence of a 125cc scooter has slightly faded the eminence of the company in the market. Now Honda is ready for opening an important new Activa chapter, with an automatic transmission Activa 125 scooter, set for launch in a few weeks from now.
Honda Activa 125cc Specifications
The new Activa will be powered by a near 125cc, four-stroke, force air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, with variator-controlled automatic transmission. It offers convenient and industry standard features. The new scooter will also have seats that put the rider in a comfortable upright riding position. It will come with their HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine which provides reduction in weight by 8%. It is expected that the scooter will come with an optional front disc brake and a set of telescopic shock absorbers at front while little else is known about the engine, frame, suspension and brake specifications.
