Special school at Sasthamangalam

#EnteThiruvananthapuram: To gave care and attention for those children who suffers from neuro-cerebral disorders such as autism, cerebral palsy etc, a group of mothers have joined together to start a school cum daycare at Pippinmoodu near Sasthamangalam. The school was inaugurated by Minister M K Muneer on Tuesday evening. The school will be managed by a group of mothers under the guidance of M I Mathews, a physician who has been in charge of the medical treatment for the children under a program of District Panchayat.

Children up to 8 years will be admitted at the school. A maximum of 40 students can be admitted here. School will start its full fledges operation from next month. As said by Girija Prasad, president of Mothers Society for Eradication of Diseases of Neuro-Cerebral Origin (M-SEDCO), the school will focus at education, exercise, diet, and medical treatment of the children. The Minister said that the responsible officials will be asked to provide best medication for children suffering from neuro-cerebral disorders.
