Trivandrum City corporation is conducting a collection drive for non-biodegradable waste such as plastic and glass. The collection drive will start from 8 am to 12 pm at 10 collections counters spread across the city. If the reports are true,  State government is planning to widen the Kasergode-Trivandrum Highway into a 6-lane road.
