Mammootty to experiment with accents again with Manglish

Manglish is directed by Salam Palapetty who made his directorial venture with movie Red Wine.

Mammootty’s talent in handling different dialects in films is a well known fact. He has tried different accents in many of his films such as Rajamanikyam, Kottayam Kunjachan, Pranchiyettan & The Saint, Chattambinadu, Bavuttiyude Namathil and Kammath & Kammath.

Now the actor has gone one step ahead with the film titled ‘Manglish’, where the actor will be seen in the role of a person who speaks only English, even at the inappropriate situation. Manglish is directed by Salam Palapetty who made his directorial venture with movie Red Wine which stars Mohanlal, Fahad Fazil and Asif Ali.

Even though Mammootty has tried different accents in many of his previous movies, Manglish will be something special for the audience as seen in Thommanum Makkalum, Pothen Vava and Mayavi. The rest of the cast in this pure entertainer will be announced soon.

Scripted by Journalist KP Riyas, the movie will have all the makings of a hilarious entertainer. The movie will be produced by Muhammed Haneef under the banner of Red Rose creations. The shooting of the Manglish will go on floors soon.

Mammooty is gearing up with his upcoming movies like Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty, Kunjananthante Kada and Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus. The actor will be seen in two different makeovers in both films.
