Naku Penta Naku Taka shooting fast progressing in Africa

Naku Penta Naku is the second Malayalam film to be set and shot in Africa after Escape from Uganda.

Of late, most of the Malayalam films released have peculiar titles. Nee Ko Naa Cha and Koothara are some of the examples. Now a new Malayalam movie has made it to the headlines because of its uniqueness in the title.

Naku Penta Naku Taka directed by Vayalar Madhavan Kutty is the latest film to join the league. Naku Penta Naku Taka is African for I love you too, I want you’. The words are the opening lines of Michael Jackson’s hit number`Liberian Girl‘.

Naku Penta Naku is the second Malayalam film to be set and shot in Africa after ‘Escape from Uganda’ which stars Rima Kallingal in the lead. The movie is a romantic thriller and tells the story of a girl who wants to marry a person who is working in America, but ends up with marrying a man who is working in South Africa. The incidents happen in the life of the couple once they reach South Africa becomes the plot of the story. The film is presented in a humorous way. Indrajith and Bhama will be doing the lead as couple. Murali Gopi handles an important role.

Popular Tamil-Malayalam scriptwriter Jayamohan, who has written the script for Ozhimuri and yet to be released Kanchi, has done the script work. Gopi Sunder will be composing the music for this film. The film is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam movies after the film Pazhassiraja. The movie will be released sometime next year.
