{"id":10479,"date":"2013-05-17T14:43:39","date_gmt":"2013-05-17T09:13:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/?p=10479"},"modified":"2013-05-17T14:43:39","modified_gmt":"2013-05-17T09:13:39","slug":"intel-launches-pc-awareness-initiative-in-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/intel-launches-pc-awareness-initiative-in-india\/","title":{"rendered":"Intel launches PC awareness initiative in India"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Intel has announced a new initiative that aims to increase domestic adoption of <strong>technology in India.<\/strong> The campaign will target consumers with the message of \u201c<em><strong>How a PC can change your life<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe campaign will reach out to consumers in a targeted manner across ten states through a series of interventions in the form of advertisement and others,\u201d Sandeep Aurora, Director Marketing and Market Development, Intel South Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign will cover 10 states namely Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The six-week nationwide campaign will reach out to consumers through a series of mediums such as print advertisements, out of home visibility, radio jingles and its award winning on-ground experiential programme called \u2018My Discoveries.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>In Kerala, &#8216;<strong>My Discoverie<\/strong>s&#8217; program will be conducted in <strong>Trivandrum, Kochi, Kozhikode and Thrissur<\/strong>. Intel will host special meets and workshops for over 100 Intel Technology providers in Kerala.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;My Discoveries&#8217; program plans to cover 1.8 million teachers, 2 million learners as well as higher education students and faculty members in colleges this year. The campaign is a part of \u2018<em>National Digital Literacy Mission<\/em>\u2019 launched by Intel in collaboration with NASSCOM and a few other players last year in order to enhance digital literacy in India.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Intel has announced a new initiative that aims to increase domestic adoption of technology in India.
