It is equipped with a new generation of driver-assistance packages called &#8220;Intelligent Drive,&#8221; which contains 30 next generation of features like Active Parking Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Night View Assist Plus, Distronic Plus with Steering Assist, Brake Assist Plus with Cross-Traffic Assist, Pre-Safe Brake with pedestrian recognition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-10557\" title=\"New Mercedes S-class pics\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2013\/05\/New-Mercedes-S-class-oics-768x510.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"553\" height=\"367\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2013\/05\/New-Mercedes-S-class-oics-768x510.jpg 768w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2013\/05\/New-Mercedes-S-class-oics-222x148.jpg 222w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2013\/05\/New-Mercedes-S-class-oics.jpg 860w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It also uses a special feature known as the &#8220;Active Perfuming System&#8221; to alter the smell of the interior. The system uses an ionisation function to first cleanse the air before perfume atomisation in 5 minute on\/5minute off cycles. Driver can choose four scents &#8211; freeside, sports, downtown and nightlife. Another outstanding feature of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the &#8216;massage on the move&#8217;. There are many other technology features which include an upgraded mbrace2 communications and navigation system, Interior LED light features with an optional 7 colours and two 12.3-inch high-resolution screens and a new instrument cluster. Mercedes-Benz S-Class is also the first ever car in the world to use LED technology throughout the exterior and interior, without a single light bulb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-10554\" title=\"2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class car\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2013\/05\/2014-Mercedes-Benz-S-Class-car.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"495\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As for the engine line-up, Mercedes-Benz S-class will come in a variety of engines &#8211; S350 BlueTec (190kW 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel), S500 (335kW 4.7-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol) and the previously mentions 400kW S63 AMG. Another option includes a S300 BlueTec Hybrid that pairs the 2.1-litre diesel with a 20kW electric motor to sip just 4.4-litres per 100km and a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine mated to the same electric motor in the S400 Hybrid.<\/p>\n<p>Although <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>prices of the new Mercedes-Benz S class<\/em><\/span> are not yet announced, expect them to range from $200,000(Rs1Crore) to $500,000(Rs2.7Crore).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mercedes-Benz has finally unveiled its new flagship car- the redesigned 2014 S-class.
