The 43rd Kerala State film awards were distributed by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy at Kerala University Senate Hall, Trivandrum on Monday.<\/p>\n

Actor Prithviraj was presented with the best male actor award for the movies \u2018Celluloid<\/a>\u2019 and \u2018Ayalum Njanum Thammil<\/a>\u2019, while Rima Kallingal was awarded the best female actor for the film \u201822 Female Kottayam.\u2019 The Best Director Award was given to Lal Jose for the movie \u2018Ayalum Njanum Thammil\u2019 and the best feature film award went director Kamal for the movie \u2018Celluloid\u2019. For \u2018Ozhimuri<\/a>\u2019 director Madhupal received the second best feature film award. Anjali Menon was given the Best Scriptwriter for the movie \u2018Manjaddikuru.\u2019<\/p>\n

The award for the Best Male Supporting Actor went Manoj K Jayan while Sajida Madathil was adjudged as the Best Female Supporting Actor. Prestigious J.C. Daniel Award was given to veteran film-maker Sasikumar, for his lifetime achievement. He had made 141 films.<\/p>\n
