The adoption drive will have healthy local breed puppies, adult dogs, cats and kittens ready for adoption. Free sterilization and vaccination will be provided at the drive. The drive will also feature many programs such as Animal Welfare information, puppet shows, c rafts, children for animals, dog training demo etc. You can also seek veterinary advice relating to medical conditions such as pregnancy problems, diseases, parasites, behavioural issues to expert veterinary doctors at &#8216;Ask the Vet&#8217; session at the drive. There are also sponsorship opportunities and volunteer opportunities for animals lovers.<\/p>\n<p>Animal Care Trivandrum is a group of\u00a0 3 animal welfare organisations- \u00a0<strong>People for Animals (PFA),<\/strong> founded by Pritish Nandy and Maneka Gandhi in their movement to stop cruelty towards animals and spread the message of ahimsa, <strong>Raksha<\/strong> \u2013 Rescue of, Awareness about, Kindness and Shelter towards Helpless Animals , a bunch of techies who find happiness in rescuing animals from cruelty and disease and <strong>Street Dog Watch<\/strong> \u2013 an association founded by animal lovers in Kovalam who promote Anti Rabies and Animal Birth Control Awareness programs across the city.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Animal Care Trivandrum (ACT) is organizing a first of its kind animal adoption drive in the city called Animal Care on June 2 at the Kanakakkunnu Palace Grounds, Trivandrum.
