As part of the CSR activities, Technopark and Technopark TBI have taken the decision to promote safe drinking water and will set up outlets in all Technopark buildings to sell liquid chlorine solution for safe drinking water.<\/p>\n
The liquid chlorine solution called ISS Jal Suraksha has been jointly developed by Ideal Safety Systems, a Government of Kerala-approved service provider in waste management and a TTBI Virtual Incubatee in Social Entrepreneurship. \u00a0ISS Jal Suraksha will be sold at a price of Rs30 per bottle and each bottle is sufficient to make 500 litres of water in a household tank safe for drinking.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs everywhere, safe drinking water is a big concern and each one of us takes great care to ensure safe water to ward off diseases, and especially in the wake of dengue, malaria, H1N1, typhoid on the rise, such a solution would be ideal to keep off diseases and for a healthy living. As part of this CSR initiative, we are targeting the 45,000-plus employees on Technopark campus to participate in making this initiative a success. With the amount we receive through this initiative, we intend to distribute the ISS Jal Suraksha to the poor people of various colonies in Trivandrum and other districts in south and central Kerala free of cost,\u201d said K.C.C Nair, CFO & Registrar, Technopark TBI.<\/p>\n
The new initiative is a blessing for those people who are suffering from diseases generated from polluted water. Ideal Safety Systems was virtually incubated by Technopark TBI one year ago.
