Italian car maker Fiat has launched its 2013 Linea T-Jet sedan<\/strong>, petrol version in India at Rs 7.87-9.11 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai)<\/strong>. The mid segment Linea T-Jet was first launched in 2010 in the domestic segment and this is one of the fastest growing segments in the auto market.<\/p>\n

“We are optimistic about our growth prospects here. With the new Linea T-Jet, an expanding dealer network and more marketing initiatives, we will be in a strong position to capitalise on this growth,” Fiat Chrysler India president and managing director Nagesh Basavanhalli said<\/p>\n

Linea T-jet is the only turbo-engine sedan in its segment and is powered by the same 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 114PS of power and 207Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the car returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 15.7kmpl<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The new Linea t-Jet is available in three variants. Even the base ‘Active’ variant is equipped with many features such as ABS and disc brakes at all four corners, auto on-off headlamps and rain sensing wipers along with electric OVRMs.\u00a0 The ‘Dynamic’ variant has a \u2018Blue and Me\u2019 Bluetooth connectivity, climate control, dual airbags and a rear AC. The high end variant, ‘Emotion’ gets leather seats, rear sun curtains and 16-inch wheels that give a ground clearance of 190mm.<\/p>\n

Fiat will be offering the Linea T-Jet in five colour options- Tuscan White, Oceanic Blue, Minimal Grey, New Pearl White and Hip Hop Black. Linea T-Jet price start at 7.6lakh, while the Dynamic variant costs Rs 8.40lakh and the top-end Emotion coming in at Rs 8.8lakh ex-showroom Delhi. Fiat currently sells only two cars in the country- Punto and Linea.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
