And during each time when reporters ask minister and other officials about this issue all they will tell same reply and that is strengthening the functioning of Supplyco and Triveni markets so that people can depend more on it to avail cheaper goods.

But the situation is different and EnteCity is trying to bring out what we find out.

First of all let’s check the price of some of the goods shown in the bill of mobile triveni above .There the price of Toor dal is printed as RS 79, but when EnteCity checked the price of the same commodity in many shops in the open market the price of the same commodity will get at RS 65 only. No shops have price of the same commodity more than it. This is not in the case of Dal only, except branded goods like soap, salt all other goods have rate more than open market at least by RS2 per Kg.

It is sure and clear that Triveni market which should help the people at this time of inflation is trying to cheat the people by the sale of goods in variety of prices. According to Consumerfed it is all about due to the quality of goods. While talking to EnteCity a senior official from (Consumerfed) said that the goods supplied by them is of good quality and for that the price of goods will goes up some time. But when asked by comparing the price of goods in the open market the official has stick on to the fact of the quality of their goods.

But as usual it was hard for one to believe this fact and to clear this doubt Entecity talk to an official from Supplyco department also which is controlling Maveli stores in the state. He said that as the direction of government the price of goods of Supplyco and Maveli stores should be always below than the goods in the open market, thus to help the people mainly at the time of inflation. He also added that Triveni took money for packing goods and also for the transportation which they can do the same as they have the permission to do that than Maveli. But to the talk of consumerfed official senior official of Supplyco responded as for a factor like quality Triveni or Maveli stores cannot supply goods at a higher price and if this happens it is not correct.

Then why this is happening. Do we need to pay more price for goods which we get from triveni for a factor like quality? Sounds mysterious and also this should be investigated by the authorities itself.

At a time when the price of vegetables, meat items and also the price of goods like rice and other such commodities is rising in a rocket speed in the state , Triveni mobile stalls working under the control of government and also which is responsible to distribute goods always at a price cheaper than […]

[4
369,35
post-11422","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-general","tag-exclusive","tag-kerala
