Disposal of garbage and the method using for the same has become a subject of debate in the city from the last many years itself. It was after when the Vilapilsala waste disposal plant was closed, garbage disposal in the city has become a news value subject. After the closure of Vilapilsala plant the City Corporation and also the state government failed to bring out a suitable method for the garbage disposal in the city, but blaming each other was seen in till now to this issue.<\/p>\n
Also by not finding out a method for the garbage disposal this time the entry of monsoon itself has become a nightmare for the residents in the city as compared with olden times more and more people are affected to communicable diseases like dengue and out of which it is the city tops in the number having more people in the communicable diseases. It was the Incinerator which was considered as a good step for the garbage disposal in the city. Suchitwa Mission\u00a0has bought the vehicle from Gujarat for the garbage disposal in the city.<\/a> But from the beginning itself city corporation was completely against this vehicle with various reasons. According to the Suchitwa Mission\u2019s formula it was the city corporation to allot 50% money for buying fuel to operate the vehicles and the other 50% will be incurred by the Suchitwa Mission\u00a0itself.<\/p>\n City Corporation was not agreeing to this formula and due to this the incinerator has just operated for days only in the city and then put unused at the Anayara market. Now the Suchitwa Mission\u00a0has taken a decision to send the incinerator to Kottakal municipality\u00a0at Malappuram as they are interested in the operation of the vehicle by incurring 50% of money to operate the vehicle. While talking to EnteCity<\/a> an official from Suchitwa Mission\u00a0said that with the least interest of the city corporation to operate the incinerator the vehicle is taking to Kottakal municipality as they have sent a letter stating they are interested in operating the vehicle there.<\/strong> He also added that steps are moving and within weeks the vehicle will be taken to their.<\/p>\n But the question arises here is not about the situation in the city on the garbage disposal but will be as why City corporation is not having money to operate a vehicle like this as Kottakal municipality itself is ready to make use of this vehicle? Also what steps will be taken by the corporation who has the responsibility to find a solution to this issue?
