Effort estimates may be used as input to project plans, test plans, iteration plans, budgets, investment analyses, pricing processes and bidding rounds. <strong>Sudheer K,<\/strong> Delivery Manager at Tata Elxsi Ltd and a PMP certified Project Manager, will lead the session. He has over 19 years of experience and practising project management for more than 13 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About The Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most of the software projects are marred by cost and time overrun and the main reasons is the inability of project team to estimate the right size of the software. Not using any scientific method and not accounting various factors like earlier experience on similar project, risks identification and mitigation, team\u2019s capability, documentation required, re-usability, attrition etc. in estimation of efforts, time and the team size may lead to unfavourable results.
