German luxury carmaker Audi<\/strong> launched the updated version of the RS 5 coupe<\/strong> in India at a starting price of Rs 95.28 lakh<\/strong>. There are no mechanical alterations in comparison with the outgoing model but the new RS5 comes with several styling upgrades.<\/p>\n

The new 2013 model of RS5 features many cosmetic enhancements such as the rectangular Xenon headlamps have been replaced by trapezium-shaped Xenon plus headlight<\/strong>. The car gets\u00a0 new LED tail lights, more pronounced bonnet contours, reshaped front and rear bumpers a restyled grille, and a new design for the 20-inch alloy wheels.<\/p>\n

The interiors contains aluminium inlays, power adjustable ‘S sports’ seats with optional climate-controlled seats. The company has also included a lap timer for racing enthusiasts. For better aerodynamics a speed-activated rear spoiler and side extensions have been added.<\/p>\n

The newly refreshed RS5 is powered by a 4.2-litre FSI engine<\/strong> that develops 456PS of power and 430Nm torque. The engine can drive the car from 0-100 km\/h in 4.5 seconds<\/strong> and onwards to an electronically limited top speed of 280km\/h. The engine is connected to a 7 speed S-tronic dual clutch gearbox that can shift gears automatically while the driver use paddle shifters for manual gear changes during sporty driving.<\/p>\n

The RS5 comes with Quattro<\/strong> – Audi\u2019s signature all-wheel drive technologies and Audi Drive Select driving dynamics system<\/strong>. Audi is also offering Dynamic Ride Control with variable damping as an option on the RS5. Other enhancements include Bluetooth phone connectivity, cruise control, a DVD-based satellite navigation and iPod connection to the standard equipment list for this updated model.<\/p>\n
