Indian handset maker Micromax on Monday has unveiled the much awaited Micromax Canvas 4 at Rs 17,999<\/strong>, which will be available in the market by this weekend. Canvas 4, will replace Canvas HD as the company’s flagship Android phone.<\/p>\n

The Canvas 4 is 8.99mm thick, encased in a sleek aluminum body which significantly amplifies signal reception.\u00a0Micromax Canvas 4 comes with a 5.0-inch HD<\/strong> with a resolution of 720×1280 display and is powered by a 1.2GHz<\/strong> quad-core processor. The phone runs on latest version of Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. The dual SIM smartphone has a 2000 mAh battery and a 1GB RAM<\/strong>. The 16GB internal memory is expandable up to 32 GB by adding microSD cards.<\/p>\n

Micromax Canvas 4 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera<\/strong> and 5-megapixel front camera<\/strong>. The device also offers some smart features such as multiple video viewing and eye-sensitive video pausing like the one we see in the Samsung Galaxy S4<\/a> and the ability to unlock the phone by blowing air on the screen. Micromax Canvas 4 will come with a new cover worth Rs.3,000, that will allow the use of the phone even when the screen is covered. The company also offers security solutions including back-up, anti-theft tracker, anti-virus.<\/p>\n

Micromax revealed that 11,500 units of Canvas 4 have been pre-booked in less than a week. Micromax Canvas 4 Price in India is Rs 17,999.<\/strong><\/p>\n
