The spiritual successor to the legendary E-Type was first unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Jaguar F-Type is our all-new, two-seater sports car and we believe it will be a game changer for the Indian sports car market. With its stunning design and driver focused engineering, this car will further enhance the appeal of our brand and I am confident that it will arouse senses and stir emotions like no other car in India&#8221;.\u00a0 Rohit Suri, vice-president, Jaguar Land Rover India.<\/p>\n<p>Globally there are 3 variants of the F-Type while in India, JLR has introduced only 2 of the top of the line variants &#8211; the <strong>V6S<\/strong>, which costs <strong>Rs. 1.37 crore<\/strong>, and the <strong>F-Type V8S<\/strong>, which costs <strong>Rs. 1.61 crore<\/strong> (both prices ex-showroom, Mumbai). The 3.0-litre V6 engine makes 380PS\/460Nm and can reach 0-100kmph in 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 275kmph while the 5.0-litre V8 puts out 495PS and 620Nm and does the 0-100kmph run in only 4.3 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 300kmph.
