The liquor shop is planned as part of the <strong>2.3 crore<\/strong> refurbishment project of Club house with new facilities. The authorities are trying to get foreign liquor license from the State Excise department. The proposal was submitted to the concerned departments two months ago and is waiting their call. According to the reports, the club has met all the requirements for getting the bar licence. It is also trying to affiliate to other clubs, since the law states that the applying club should have affiliation with minimum 5 similar kinds of clubs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>|Also Read- <a href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/technopark-phase-3-to-include-entertainment-hub-and-shopping-malls\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0Technopark Phase 3 to include entertainment hub and shopping malls\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In October 2012, club officials have made a proposal for funding from the Technopark authorities to give the club a much needed makeover. &#8220;The multi-cuisine restaurant at the club is in a bad shape and the club itself does not carry the ambience of the buildings located around it. The club currently boasts of <strong>3,500 plus members<\/strong>. It is also the venue for individual and company parties, but the space is totally underutilized,&#8221; said Anoop P Ambika, the secretary of the club.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technopark Club<\/strong> is a place for the techies to engage in recreational activities. It contains swimming pool, courts for badminton &amp; table tennis, beach volley ball, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, a massage parlour, Vaisakha &#8211; the multi-cuisine restaurant, South Park Tours and Travels for travel arrangements. They also organize various activities for a stress-free week such as festivals and tournaments.
