British car major, Rolls-Royce is all set to launch ‘Rolls-Royce Wraith’<\/strong> in India on August. Rolls-Royce, the maker of iconic cars like the Phantom and Ghost has confirmed the launch of Wraith. Wraith, a car that effuses luxury, power and drama in the same package is the most powerful car ever built by the company.<\/p>\n

The Wraith also rides on the same chassis as the Ghost<\/strong>. It is 183mm shorter in wheelbase than the Ghost, 130mm shorter in overall length, 40mm wider in rear track and 43mm lower in height. The car has a deeply recessed front grille, wide rear track, strong tension lines in the panels and a raked rear screen.<\/p>\n

The doors are frameless units and have buttons at the base so that passengers don\u2019t have to reach out to shut the doors. On the inside, Wraith also has bespoke leather interiors, which can be configured according to the needs of the customer. It also features Phantom-grade leathers<\/strong> and new wood panelling, which stretches across the coach doors through to the rear of the car. A starlight headliner is also available via 1,340<\/strong> tiny lamps hand-woven into the roof lining.<\/p>\n

The new Wraith is powered by a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine<\/strong> that can deliver 625PS of power and 800Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The gearbox can work in conjunction with GPS and predicts gear changes according to the traffic and road conditions ahead. The car does 0-100 run in just 4.6 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Rolls-Royce also claims the Wraith features a best-ever voice command system that allows the occupants to set satellite navigation destinations and perform other functions, and a touchpad controller that uses smartphone-style pinch-and-pull functionality.<\/p>\n

Rolls-Royce Wraith price in India is expected to be Rs 4 crore<\/strong>. However, the launch price will depend on the exchange rate situation in August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
