Bentley’s parent company Volkswagen<\/strong> gave the nod to build its first sport-utility vehicle (SUV)- EXP 9F to<\/strong> expand beyond exclusive sedans and coupes to appeal to wealthy consumers. Being touted as \u201cthe world\u2019s most expensive SUV\u201d, EXP 9F concept was unveiled last summer.<\/p>\n

The world\u2019s most expensive SUV which will have a starting cost of around 180,000euros<\/strong> ($245,000) will also become the most powerful SUV. The EXP 9F concept is powered by a re-engineered version of the existing 6.0-litre petrol W12 engine, but in production could also be available with a V8 diesel engine or a V6-based plug-in hybrid power train.<\/p>\n

SUV is based on the Volkswagen Group PL71 platform<\/strong>, the same platform used in the other Volkswagen Group large SUVs including the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg.<\/p>\n

On the exterior, it features Bentley\u2019s famous matrix grille and round lamps, as well as an ultra-wide, two-part split tailgate and twin exhaust tailpipes. The interior is also a piece of work with one of a kind console interface, double sunroof, chapel-like cockpit and other immaculate details.<\/p>\n
