Confederation of Indian Industry<\/strong> (CII), Trivandrum Zone will launch the Indian Women Network (IWN<\/strong>) – a network of women, by women and for women – in the city on August 12 at Vivanta by Taj.<\/p>\n

Indian Women Network (IWN) is a networking platform for aspiring women professionals and entrepreneur. Even though there are various initiatives working towards women empowerment, still there exist a vacuum of thought and leadership to create a platform for women from all walks of life to come together to create an environment for women to participate in society and business. Thus Indian Women Network was born.<\/p>\n

IWN is an exclusive platform for Career Women<\/strong> – Professionals & Entrepreneurs to network, learn, share & seek better opportunities. CII feels the need for a focused and an all-inclusive approach to create gender parity for women in Indian Industry and Civil Society. Women require a very structured platform for expanding their professional network and IWN could be the right place where they can share their experiences and overcome challenges at work, family & society.<\/p>\n

Indian Women Network will be structured on the lines of Young Indians<\/strong><\/a>. The network is also extended to students of final year graduation and post graduation, to guide them through career options and provide them an opportunity to be mentored by successful women achievers who have climbed up the professional ladder in their respective careers.<\/p>\n
