Villgro, the pioneers in rural innovation is organizing a one-of-a-kind signature event at Trivandrum that will provide a common meeting ground for innovators of all hues. \u00a0Christened as Unconvention|L’13, the event will be held at CDAC, Technopark Campus<\/a> on August 23, 2013.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unconvention|L’13 is a small format one day event with an objective to catalyze local social entrepreneurs while trying to build networks for them in the local regions. Unconvention|L is aimed at ideators who wish to transform their dreams to reality, social entrepreneurs, domain experts, opinion leaders, and leading lights of the Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship ecosystem. The event will serve as a platform to systematically enable these entrepreneurs and help them build successful enterprises.<\/p>\n

The realizable objectives of organizing Unconventions at smaller locations for the social entrepreneur is to activate them, give them the knowledge and necessary guidance and support to take the business forward. For investors and other stakeholders, these events trigger the possibilities of a future deal and networking opportunities.<\/p>\n

Saloni Malhotra, Founder of DesiCrew and Dr. Abhishek Sen, Co-founder of Biosense Technologies will lead the session. Social entrepreneurs, service providers, student groups who have an entrepreneurship idea, R&D labs of government, investees of existing social venture funds, existing non-profits in the region etc can attend the event. The participant will have to pay Rs. 1000 on the day of the event. The fees include meals, snacks & delegate kit.<\/p>\n

Unconvention|L is organized by Villgro in association with Innovation Experience and IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology.<\/p>\n
