Career Guidance & Adolescent Counselling Cell of the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education will conduct training in short film making for Higher Secondary students.<\/p>\n
The programme aims to familiarise students with the career prospects of film making and to enable them to make short films as a media for social change. The training will cover various aspects of short film making right from the screenplay stage to post-production stage. Experts in the field will conduct classes on film making, including screenplay, direction, cinematography, sound engineering and editing.<\/p>\n
Students participating in the course will get an opportunity to visit the Film and Television Institute of India at Pune<\/strong> and to interact with noted filmmakers. Seven best screenplays from the students will be made into short films.<\/strong><\/p>\n Interested candidates should submit their applications before September 10 along with the 2-3 minute-long video, a short description of the video, bio-data of the applicant and a certificate from the school principal. Entries will be considered both in the fiction and non-fiction categories. Videos can be shot even on mobile phone cameras.<\/p>\n The artistic value of the video will be the main criteria for selection. Selected candidates in the first round will have to appear for an aptitude test and interview.
