The boards are sponsored by the State Bank of Travancore and measurements have already been taken. Earlier two digital boards were erected a month ago including one at the south nada and another one along the roadside sponsored by Canara Bank.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, the temple authorities also plan to set up solar panels and biogas plants to meet energy requirements especially while providing &#8216;annadanam&#8217; feast for devotees. A government agency has agreed to take the proposal forward.<\/p>\n<p>Installation of grill over the temple pond to ward off rodents at the south entry, checking the drainage leak into the pond from West Fort, and personnel deputed to oversee the complaints of devotees regarding forced temple offerings through &#8216;poothattu&#8217; are some of the project implemented as part of the development works.<\/p>\n<p>The developments will be part of a series of 32 development projects proposed by the new temple executive officer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Soon devotees coming to Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple will be able to get details of all the rituals and festivals on acrylic display boards.
