Big touchscreen phones came and changed the trend in a big way. However, Samsung is trying to reinvent the Flip Phones with the launch of <strong>Samsung W789 Android flip phone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Samsung W789 boasts dual-screen setup &#8211; external and internal &#8211; of 3.3-inch HVGA screen, with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs on <strong>Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.<\/strong> However, there is no mention about internal storage and the RAM of the device yet.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung W789 is quite thick and heavy, measuring 110.85 x 59.3 x 18.62mm and weighing 208g. Under the back cover resides a 1,500mAh battery, the microSD card slot for expanding the memory as well as the <strong>two SIM card<\/strong> supporting tri-band GSM and dual-band CDMA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-13114\" title=\"Samsung W789 Flipphone\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2013\/08\/samsung-flip-phone-334x513.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"267\" height=\"410\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2013\/08\/samsung-flip-phone-334x513.jpg 334w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2013\/08\/samsung-flip-phone.jpg 765w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 267px) 100vw, 267px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For imaging it uses a <strong>5-megapixel rear camera<\/strong> with flash and connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB.The phone will come pre-loaded with Samsung Apps, including its messaging service <strong>ChatON<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-13113\" title=\"Samsung W789 Flipphone Camera\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2013\/08\/hennessy-5-336x513.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"269\" height=\"410\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2013\/08\/hennessy-5-336x513.jpg 336w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2013\/08\/hennessy-5.jpg 771w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 269px) 100vw, 269px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is no word on the price and availability as yet. Currently, the handset is available only in China.
