Maruti Suzuki India has officially launched the all-new compact car Stingray<\/strong>, priced between Rs 4.1 lakh<\/strong> and Rs 4.67 lakh. Sting Ray is essentially a WagonR under the skin. Maruti has dropped the Wagon R moniker from the name of the new model and are simply calling it the Maruti Suzuki Stingray.<\/p>\n

The main highlight of the Sting Ray is the projector headlamps up front, a new grille and bumper. Stingray also gets blacked out B-pillars, alloy wheels in a new design, side skirts, new tail lamps and a chrome embellishment on the hatch lid.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interior wise Stingray got all-black interiors with ‘premium’ upholstery<\/strong> and a blue-back lit instrumentation cluster. The car also gets a factory fitted in-dash audio system compatible with USB\/AUX inputs, which have steering mounted controls too.<\/p>\n

High end model has a driver side power window with one touch operation, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel and electrically adjustable rear view mirrors. It will also have a driver side airbag and ABS.<\/p>\n

Stingray is powered by a 998cc K-Series petrol engine<\/strong> in a triple cylinder layout. The engine outputs 67 Bhp of peak power and 90 Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. The car delivers an ARAI certified mileage figure of 20.51 Kmpl.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maruti Suzuki Sting Ray is available in five colours<\/strong>: White, Blue, Red, Grey and Silver. Stingray LXi model is priced at 4.10 lakh rupees, the VXi and the VXi (Option) models sell at 4.38 and 4.67 lakh rupees respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
