Amidst much anticipation, Samsung has officially launched Galaxy Note 3 phablet at the IFA 2013 in Berlin.<\/strong> Note 3 is thinner, faster and lighter yet bigger than its predecessor.<\/p>\n

Samsung Galaxy Note 3<\/em> <\/strong>comes with a faux leather back that makes it look gorgeous and a suite of new stylus-friendly software features. It weighs 167 grams and has a thickness of 0.33-inch. For comparison Note 2 weighs 182 grams and has thickness of 0.37-inch.<\/p>\n

The device sports a large 5.7-inch Full HD<\/strong> Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a pixel density count all the way up to 386ppi. It has a 3GB of RAM<\/strong> and runs on Android 4.3.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Galaxy Note 3 will come in two variants- The LTE variant will be powered by 2.3GHz quad-core processor and the 3G version will be powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core processor. \u00a0The device will be available in 32GB and 64GB variants and has a 3,200mAh battery.<\/p>\n

The phone is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with ‘Smart Stabilization<\/strong>‘ and high CRI LED flash. It also has a 2 mega pixel front camera capable of Full HD recording at 30fps.<\/p>\n

Samsung Galaxy Note 3<\/span> comes with a slew of new features. One of the biggest highlights is the Air Command<\/strong>. This menu pops up any time you extract the S Pen.\u00a0 From the Air Command launcher, you can access all the central S Pen features \u2014 dubbed Action Memos, Pen Window, S Finder, and Scrapbook.<\/p>\n

Connectivity options on the Note 3 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a\/b\/g\/n\/ac, GPS\/ GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0 (LE), IR, and MHL 2.0. It comes with various sensors like Gesture, Accelerometer, Geo-magnetic, Gyroscope, Proximity, Barometer, Temperature & Humidity, and Hall Sensor.<\/p>\n

Samsung says the Galaxy Note 3 will launch starting from September 25 in more than 140 countries around the world. However there’s no word on pricing yet.<\/p>\n

Galaxy Smartwatch<\/b><\/h2>\n

Samsung also launched the Galaxy Smartwatch at the event. The android powered smartwatch features a 1.63-inch screen as well as a basic camera and will connect to Note 3 via Bluetooth. It will make calls, display messages, record videos and snap photos, all while the user’s phone stays in their pocket or handbag.<\/p>\n
