Yesterday, the hotel made an \u00a0Onam Special Sadya with 101 varieties of curries.<\/p>\n<p>14 types of Thoran, 13 types of Achars, more than 11 types of Kichhadi, 9 varieties of Pachhadi and Mezuhukkuperatti, 7 types of Poriyal, 4 variations of Upperi and 5 varieties of Vada were served along with other curries such as Avial, and Salads. The list also includes various types of Sambar, Parippu, Puli, Pappad, Rasam, Payasam etc. The Sadya ended with the famous Ambalapuzha Pal payasam.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-13587\" title=\"Al-Saj Guinnes Onam Sadhya 2013\" alt=\"1175521_453882861393306_1777807878_n\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2013\/09\/1175521_453882861393306_1777807878_n.jpg\" width=\"576\" height=\"384\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2013\/09\/1175521_453882861393306_1777807878_n.jpg 720w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2013\/09\/1175521_453882861393306_1777807878_n-222x148.jpg 222w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The mega Sadya was given to 50 people and the video of the entire event right from the beginning was taken. The video will be sent to Guinness World Records India and the result will be informed within 6 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The Sadya was made by a crew of 20 cooks of Al Saj hotel. Preparations were started 3 days before the event. \u00a0According to Al Saj&#8217;s owner Sajeed and his wife Soumya, the mega Sadya was created with an aim to show case Kerala to the whole world.<\/p>\n<p>As instructed by the Guinness Book authorities, Trivandrum City Mayor K.Chandrika,MLAs \u00a0Palode Ravi, MA Waheed, Varkala Kahaar, Sociocultural activist and media were present during the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Al Saj will offer 101 curries for the customers on Thiruvonam.
