Hyundai Motor India launched its new compact hatchback car ‘Grand i10<\/strong>‘ priced between Rs 4.29 lakh<\/strong> and Rs 6.41 lakh<\/strong>. The Grand i10 is positioned between i10 and i20, and is targeted at the young professional aged between 25-35 years.<\/p>\n

Grand i10 is 100mm longer than the European Spec Hyundai i10. The car is quite the looker with its strong shoulder line, stretched back headlamps, wrap around tail lamps and large glass house. Hyundai has also put together the interiors of the new Grand i10 with good quality materials that give the cabin an upmarket air.<\/p>\n

Hyundai \u00a0Grand i10 Features<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Grand i10 comes in two engine variants –1.2-litre Kappa2 petrol<\/strong> and the new 1.1-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine<\/strong>. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.2 litre Kappa VTVT engine with an output of 83 PS at the rate of 6,000 rpm and mileage of 18.9 km per liter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The diesel variant is powered by a 1.1 liter second generation U2 CRDi diesel engine which delivers 71 PS at the rate of 4,000 rpm and a mileage of 24 kms per liter.<\/strong> The automatic gearbox, however, will only be offered with the petrol powered model.<\/p>\n

On the inside Grand i10 packs in a host of features such as A\/C vent for rear passengers (an industry first in the segment), rear aircon vents, smart key with Push button start and stop, steering mounted audio controls, integrated 2-DIN MP3 audio with built-in 1 GB memory, Bluetooth connectivity, Aux-in and USB connectivity, rear parking sensors, glove box cooling, electric ORVMs, etc<\/p>\n

Grand i10 will take on cars like Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ford Figo, Toyota Liva and Nissan Micra.<\/p>\n
