Launched in 2012, Ray was Yamaha’s foray into ‘scooter for girls’ segment in India. Now Yamaha has launched a special edition of Ray<\/a> called Ray Precious edition priced at Rs 48,605 ex-Delhi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ray Precious Edition<\/em> has got some attractive paintings and beautiful stickers on it. A black paintjob, pink decals, \u2018Precious Edition\u2019 on top of the headlight and \u2018Ray Cygnus\u2019 written at the rear are the only changes. The Precious edition comes as a result of Yamaha\u2019s association with 2013 Ponds Femina Miss India<\/strong> beauty pageant.<\/p>\n

The Precious Edition retains all the other features Ray has including the large headlamp cluster on the front apron, dual tone body panels all around, stylish tail-lamp unit and a nicely designed seat ending in a practical hip-support-cum-grab-rail.<\/p>\n

\u2018Black n Beauty\u2019 Yamaha Ray is powered by the same 113cc four stroke motor engine. The powerful and fuel efficient engine used in the Ray churns out 7 Bhp @ 7500 rpm power and 8.1 Nm @ 5500 rpm torque. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. With an average mileage of 50 KMPL<\/strong> and a fuel tank capacity of 5-litres, the Ray has a range of 250 Kms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Yamaha Ray Precious Edition will be available till stocks last. The Ray also has a stalemate, Ray Z, which is targeted at the male audience.
