These include a surveillance camera system and an electronic fencing system, which will send an alert in the event of a breach. For better access control, police will install state-of-the-art automated visitor management system which issues temporary biometric identity cards to guests for the duration of their visit.<\/p>\n<p>Police has proposed a cyber security centre at Technopark to monitor the Internet for divisive activities and to give the police a constant technological edge over cyber criminals. The proposal was made in the wake of the Muzaffarnagar riots in UP where miscreants had used social networking sites to spread hate speech that triggered the communal riot.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Cyberdome<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>A high-tech nodal centre called \u201c<a title=\"Kerala Police to setup \u2018Cyberdome\u2019 at Technopark Trivandrum\" href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/kerala-police-to-setup-cyberdome-at-technopark-trivandrum\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kerala Police Cyberdome<\/a>\u201d which will serve as a centre for cyber security solutions and innovations will come up in a<strong> 5,000 Sq.Ft<\/strong> secure facility at Technopark. With the Cyberdome officers will get intelligence on various cyber threats in near real time and track fugitives by monitoring their online activities.<\/p>\n<p>The Home Department is actively considering the creation of a new police subdivision in Kazhakuttam. Currently there are only 3 police sub-divisions &#8211; Cantonment, Shangumughom, and Fort.
