Make A Difference a non-profit youth volunteer network that works with underprivileged children in India is organizing a cupcake baking workshop titled “Sweet little things”<\/strong> which will be held on 12th and 13th of October at The Capital Hotel<\/a>. The cupcake baking workshop is jointly organized by Make A Difference and Vivo a charity Initiative founded by young corporate and other professionals.<\/p>\n

First day of Sweet little things workshop, will have a morning session from 9:30am to 12pm and an afternoon session from2:30pm to 5pm. While on the second day, there will be only an afternoon session from 2:30pm to 5pm.<\/p>\n

Anyone who is above the age 12 can participate in the event. Each session will have 24 members and will be split into groups of 4 forming 6 groups in total. Each group will prepare 12 cupcakes – 3 per participant, which they can take back with them. Two varieties of cupcakes will be taught per session and ingredients and utensils will be provided. There will be an entry fee of Rs500 per session. Proceeds from this event go towards educating children at risk.<\/p>\n

Make A Difference is a platform that empowers youth to become change leaders who make positive social impact in the lives of children at risk in orphanage. MAD volunteers implement projects that provide these children with the skills that guarantee employment, role models they can relate to and exposure that helps them dream big. Right now, close to 2000 Make A Difference volunteers work with about 5000 children in 23 Indian cities.<\/p>\n
