Spread over nearly 300 acres with 4 million sq. ft. of built-up space available currently, Technopark hosts over 290 IT and ITES companies employing over 42,500 IT professionals. In addition to built-up office space, Technopark also provides all utilities as well as the connectivity. The park has the best of nature&#8217;s infrastructure along with the most modern man-made facilities. International standard infrastructure, Quality environment, numerous support services, cost advantage, excellent human resources etc make Technopark, Trivandrum India&#8217;s most promising IT destination. Technopark supports start-ups by providing business incubation facilities for start-up firms as well as some social infrastructure for the personnel working in the park.<\/p>\n<p><b>Infrastructre<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The park has a number of buildings inside the campus intended for software development. All buildings are named after rivers in Kerala\u2014 Pamba, Periyar, Nila, Chandragiri, Gayathri, Bhavani and Thejaswini.\u00a0 These buildings aggregate to a total of about 3,500,000 sq ft. (Excluding Phase 3). For communication and connectivity Technopark has state-of-the-art technology. Technopark is connected through fibre link to Gateway at Mumbai, directly connecting to the undersea cable system backbone that connects 134 countries including U.S, U.K, Middle East and Asia Pacific.<\/p>\n<p>Other facilities in the campus include Technopark Club which includes a gym, swimming pool, restaurant and sporting facilities; Techno-mall, Technopark guesthouse and other privately constructed buildings.<\/p>\n<p><b>Cultural Diversity<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Keeping with its motto &#8220;Harmony at Work&#8221;, Technopark Trivandrum is one of the greenest IT parks in the world. The campus is lush green with balconies and expansive terraces on almost all buildings providing relief to professionals working here. Technopark is also the world&#8217;s greenest IT Park. It has many food courts that offer a variety of foods including world\u2019s famous fast food chains.<\/p>\n<p>Technopark Trivandrum has a cosmopolitan culture and people from diverse cultural backgrounds are working in the IT Park. IT Park houses companies and people from around the world. IT and ITES companies from the US, UK, Germany, Japan, Canada, Italy etc have office alongside Indian companies which makes Technopark a diverse multi-cultural community, working in harmony. To promote harmony in this diversity, Technopark offers a range of facilities and annual events ranging from technical conferences to trekking expeditions.<\/p>\n<p><b>Technopark Expansion Project<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Currently Technopark Trivandrum is expanding by adding another 92 acres as Technopark-Phase III expansion project and 450 acres as Phase IV expansion or Technocity Project which is an integrated IT township. In Phase-3, the 2 twin-towers currently have a total built-up area of 1 Million SF. It spreads over an area of 431 acres of land on both sides of NH-47 from Pallipuram to Mangalapuram. It will consist of world class Infrastructure facilities for IT\/ITES Industry, educational institutions, banking facilities, residential blocks, \u00a0hotels and restaurants, health care facilities, entertainment facilities, recreation centres, shopping mall etc.<\/p>\n<h3><b>How to Reach Technopark<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Located at Kazhakootam, Technopark Trivandrum is well-connected to Trivandrum city by public transport. Nearest Railway stations are Thiruvanathapuram Central which is 14.6 km away, Kochu Veli (8.8 km) and Kazhakuttom (850 m).
