HTC’s much-anticipated smartphone HTC One Max<\/strong>, the extra-large version of its flagship One smartphone has been launched in the US. The HTC One<\/a> is one of the most beautifully designed Android phones ever.<\/p>\n

The phablet sports a large 5.9-inch Full-HD<\/strong> display with 1080p resolution and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with HTC’s Sense 5.5 UI on top. The One Max retains the previous model’s classy aluminium finish but gets much heavier, weighing in at 217 grams. It measures 164.5 x 82.5 x 10.3 mm. HTC One Max is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB\/ 32GB inbuilt storage variants with support for up to 64GB via microSD card.<\/p>\n

HTC One max’s most interesting new feature is fingerprint sensor, just like in the iPhone 5s<\/a>. The fingerprint scanner which sits on the back of the phone unlocks the screen with your fingerprint. You can also assign different fingers to launch up to three different apps.<\/p>\n

For imaging, the device uses HTC’s UltraPixel Camera <\/a>at the rear and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera with Dual capture mode that captures personal reactions with picture-in-picture results and HTC Scribble feature that frees your inner artist. HTC One Max also contains a BoomSound<\/strong> front-facing speaker which was first seen in HTC One and Blinkfeed.<\/p>\n

Connectivity features on the HTC One Max include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, DLNA and HTC Connect. The One Max packs a 3300mAh battery which can give up to 25 hours of talk-time and 585 hours of standby time for 3G networks.<\/p>\n
