School and college students, who come to the Museum bunking classes, beware! You are being watched!<\/p>\n
Roaming around in the Museum garden will no longer be a good idea for the students who bunk class and for those who vandalise the garden. The Museum Authorities have setup 46 surveillance cameras<\/strong> and a 24×7 control room on the Museum campus to prevent anti-social activities and ensure the security of the visitors.<\/p>\n The project jointly implemented by C-DIT, Costford and Keltron aims to provide a safe zone for the visitors from dawn to dusk. A security team will watch the Museum garden from these 46 CCTV videos and immediate action will be taken against those who commit illegal activity. The cameras will be installed inside the animal cages in the zoo too.<\/p>\n The Museum campus has been a refuge to students who bunk school or sneak out of houses. There were many incidents in which security guards caught children wandering around the campus wearing school uniforms. Moreover anti-socials, illegal street vendors and beggars also come inside the campus occasionally posing a nuisance to the visitors.<\/p>\n The new surveillance system will give high degree of security and confidence to the visitors as the place is widely used by city residents for jogging during morning and evening.\u00a0The new system is being installed as part of \u00a0the Museum renovation project <\/a>which includes Automatic touch screen ticket Kiosks, new water fountain, new lawn, walkways and much more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" School and college students, who come to the Museum bunking classes, beware!
