The 85-minute long film will be a fresh and exciting experience for the audience as it was completed in a single shot.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/iffk-pass-distribution-started\/\" target=\"_blank\">IFFK Pass Distribution Started<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" alt=\"Amos Gitai - The director\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2013\/11\/Amos-Gitai-IFFK.jpg\" width=\"161\" height=\"248\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The film revolves around a journalist Yael (Yuval Scharf) who arrives at a peaceful enclave in Jaffa to write about a late holocaust survivor nicknamed \u201cAna Arabia\u201d, who was born Hanna Klibanov, and decided to marry a Muslim construction worker after her family got settled in Israel.<\/p>\n<p>The film has already created a great response from the various film festivals it was screened. The film was premiered at the Venice Film Festival. The director Amos Gitai is no stranger to IFFK. A retrospective of 7 of his films were screened in IFFK 2008 and has got a good fan following here. No wonder the committee decided to open this year\u2019s IFFK with Ana Arabia.
