Now, it\u2019s time for the \u2018<strong>Women-Friendly Autorickshaw<\/strong>\u2019 to take charge. The service which is under the control of City Police will be launched on December 1st by City Police Commisioner P Vijayan, who actually framed this idea. The contrast is that this service will have male drivers. The drivers who were selected for this project underwent multiple screening processes and awareness classes conducted by the police and other experts. 150 drivers are currently part of the team.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The most striking feature of <strong>\u2018Women-Friendly Autorickshaw\u2019 is that it is a 24-hour service<\/strong>. The main aim of this initiative is to help women who travel at late hours due to work. The auto rickshaws will have large pink stickers which will be display the logo of this service, which will enable easy identification of this service. Initially, the rickshaws will be having services from Thampanoor, <a href=\"http:\/\/listing.entecity.com\/business\/medical-college-hospital\" target=\"_blank\">Medical College<\/a> and Fort.
