The much awaited \u2018Square One X\u2019mas Fest\u2019<\/strong> got started in the city on 18th<\/sup> December at the Little Flower Hall, Vellayambalam. As expected, people are pouring in from different parts of the city to feel the kick of this fest.<\/p>\n

\"Square<\/p>\n

This is actually the 10th<\/sup> edition of the fest. Though they conduct fest during Onam too, the X\u2019mas edition is the most anticipated one. The fest feature food items such as cakes, snacks, takeaways, tea items etc. The fest is not just about food, you will be welcomed by a wide range of fabrics such as designer sarees, towels, sheets etc. However, the main attraction of the fest is the homemade cakes. This year they have introduced Chocolate Yule Log cake along with Swiss Chocolate<\/strong>, Passion Fruit cake, Cheese lemon cake etc. The fest offers you around 30 flavours of cakes in attractive designs.<\/p>\n

The main motive of the fest is to bring back the ethnic taste of Kerala. As a part of it, they have included items such as Chakkayada, Vattayappam, Kumbil etc. The food section also features Noodles, Arabian dishes, Meals, Dosas etc.<\/p>\n

The fest aims at customer satisfaction and every year they include new items according to the responses and suggestions of the customers. According to the sources, Checkerboard, Passion Fruit, Butterscotch and Chocolates cakes are creating the best responses from the customers.<\/p>\n

Pre order of food items for Christmas and New Year eve has already been started. The fest is managed by Square One Homemade Treats<\/a>, one of the leading bake houses in Trivandrum, run by a group of women.
