It is going to be more than two years the kudumbashree workers have stopped collecting waste from the people after when the Vilapilshala waste disposal plant have been closed. This lead to many issue as till now the government and the city corporation is not able to find an alternative way to solve the waste disposal issue thus leading the same to a subject for debate. Plastic will be collected for RS 14 per kilo. From the last few years onwards government was on a move to tar roads using plastic as studies shows that roads tarred using plastic will have double life span compared to common roads. But lack of availability of plastic made government to start this project very late. Years back itself there were calls from each and every side that using plastic only the state will have better roads.
