The soil museum has been setup at Parottukonam by the Department of Soil survey and Soil conservation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The motive behind this museum is to showcase the various types of soil found across the state. This initiative also aims at creating an awareness regarding the importance of soil conservation and watershed development. The museum also benefits the students in soil science as they are providing academic support facilities.
