Many have lost their lives on that cursed road. Though many complaints were sent to the responsible officials, they are of the stand that only the lives of VIP\u2019s should be protected.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-15739\" alt=\"accedents-airtport-shilpa\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/01\/accedents-airtport-shilpa.jpg\" width=\"180\" height=\"254\" \/>To add to the misery, <strong>Shilpa<\/strong>, a 14-year old girl student of St.Mary\u2019s School, Pattom was killed in an accident near GV Raja junction yesterday. She was travelling with her dad and brother when a government car hit them. Shilpa faced with a spot death, whereas her dad and brother are admitted in hospital with severe injuries. Soon after the accident, the localities created blockade on the road. As a result of that, Assistant Commissioner of Shanghumugham ordered to place speed breakers on the road and many police officials were assigned duty on this road.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, on Christmas day, a youngster residing near Rajeev Nagar lost his life during bike race. Then too, the localities created blockade. Then the police officials promised to curb over speeding by placing speed breakers. However, the result was 5-6 flex boards came at the region showing over speeding\/bike racing is punishable. Safety measures were taken by the police in account of yesterday\u2019s accident. But, how long this safety measure will prevail at the danger road? Localities are less confident about its surety. The police officials should take proper actions to avoid these incidents.
