The event was officially launched by Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar yesterday at a function conducted in the city. The competition will be open for all children aged between 4 and 15. The event is being coordinated by Invis Multimedia, Kerala Tourism\u2019s IT solutions provider.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-15791\" alt=\"Edmund Thomas Clint\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/01\/Edmund-Thomas-Clint-.jpg\" width=\"467\" height=\"675\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/01\/Edmund-Thomas-Clint-.jpg 519w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/01\/Edmund-Thomas-Clint--354x513.jpg 354w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 467px) 100vw, 467px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sensational Clint completed around 25,000 paintings before succumbing to death at an age of six due to kidney failure.<\/strong> Clint\u2019s works still continue to inspire many and majority of the art lovers are dazed by it. Clint\u2019s parents M T Joseph and Chinnamma were also present for the function. They were happy that their son\u2019s works are still remembered and honoured by the government and expect his works gets global attention through this event.<\/p>\n<p>Minister believes that the competition will be an apt tribute to this genius artist. The participants can submit paintings on any theme related to Kerala.
