To mark the completion of 30 years of GNU and 10 years of SPACE, the free software community will organize an exhibition on 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0January.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15864\" alt=\"educaion freedom day\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/01\/educaion-freedom-day.jpg\" width=\"541\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/01\/educaion-freedom-day.jpg 541w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/01\/educaion-freedom-day-361x513.jpg 361w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 541px) 100vw, 541px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The talk by Richard Stallman will take place at the Mascot Hotel at\u00a011:30AM. The lecture which is jointly organized by SPACE and Kerala Union of Working Journalists\u00a0will see him briefing on the topic \u2018<strong>A Free Digital Societ<\/strong>y\u2019. His talk will be concentrating on issues of\u00a0digital surveillance that undermine the foundations of a democratic society.\u00a0The exhibition which is to be held on 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0will emphasize on free software and free knowledge. <strong>The exhibition will take place at Band Stand of Napier Museum will also celebrate the Education Freedom Day.<\/strong> Software projects like WoMoz, HackerSpace, Fedora etc will feature in the exhibition.
