Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has been criss-crossing the state with his Jana Samparka Paripadi by directly engaging with people, mostly the less privileged, and pulling crowds. The Mass Contact Program helps the Chief Minister to meet people directly, to hear their grievances and to take all possible action to redress those grievances. The unique outreach campaign, even won the United Nation’s award for public service in July.<\/p>\n
Now chief minister is all set to reach out to the people in a revolutionary way by using smart phones and mobile applications. The idea is to develop a mobile app that can be used by citizens to interact with Chief Minister’s office. The mobile app will act as a link between the chief minister and the public.\u00a0 The government has been planning the mobile for long time. The idea is to make available all information on smartphone.<\/p>\n
To be launched within two months, the app will bring useful information such as news, photos and videos in real time. The mobile app will be developed on Android platform. Once the app gets activated, the chief minister\u2019s programmes and important information from his office will be just a touch away.<\/p>\n
