The painting unit was inaugurated by Minister K Babu. So Trivandrum becomes the third place in the country to have this facility after Mumbai and Hyderabad.<\/p>\n<p>This is definitely a great leap in the aviation sector. The new unit will function as a base for painting and maintenance for the aircrafts. As our city hosts the new unit, the aircrafts won\u2019t have to fly to other parts for painting and maintenance. Mumbai-based company Aero Technics will be in charge of the unit.
