Currently, India is providing this facility to tourists from 11 countries only. By increasing it to 180, the Tourism sector is expected to take a huge growth in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>In the first phase, this facility will be implemented at 9 airports including Trivandrum and Kochi.<\/strong> <\/em>This is really expected to boost the Tourism sector of Kerala too. As an add-on to this facility, the government will be launching online visa system for the tourists. This will allow the tourists to apply visa online and they will be updated about their visa status in a few days time. A new website will be soon launched which will exhibit about all the facilities provided for those who wish to visit India. The visa charges will be listed there and the tourists can apply for visa by paying the quoted amount.<\/p>\n<p>Union Ministry is planning to make this plan effective by October.
