At present, the Infosys Trivandrum Campus is on an expansion phase with the new Software Development Centre Block (SDB3).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The company is planning to add about 5,000 to 7,000 IT professionals in the next five years, considering the market conditions and growth.&#8221; Said Sunil Jose, Centre Head of Infosys Trivandrum<\/p>\n<p>SDB 3 will have a capacity of 3,500 seats and will be operational by April 2014. The building has multi-level car parking facility that can hold up to 2,000 cars and 2,000 two wheelers. A second massive food court is also getting ready at the campus. The company also got approval for the construction of 6,500 seat capacity \u2018Software Development Block 4\u2019 which would be commenced later.<\/p>\n<p>Infosys Trivandrum campus is located on 50 acres of land at Technopark Phase 2. The current buildings there have a built-up area of 6,18,00 sq.ft and can accommodate 4,643 seats. When SDB 3 is operational, another 21,39,000 Sq.ft which can accommodate 8,479 seats will be added. Infosys has also acquired 50 acres of land in the <a title=\"TechnoCity \u2013 The future belongs here?\" href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/technocity-the-future-belongs-here\/\" target=\"_blank\">Technocity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With a growth rate of 30-40%, Infosys Trivandrum is the fastest growing Infosys campus among the Tier-2 cities such as Mangalore, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar and Chandigarh, in terms of both business and workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The company which completed 10 years in Trivandrum in December, 2013 started with 100 employees. Now the company has 4,700 IT professionals with 3,200 people working in its own campus and rest at the <a title=\"Technopark Trivandrum \u2013 India\u2019s Greenest IT Park\" href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/technopark-trivandrum\/\" target=\"_blank\">Technopark <\/a>main campus.
